Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2016 was a visual feast, with our favourite Australian street style star's providing a hint to what is to come, trend wise, in the seasons ahead. Statement sleeves, crisp cottons, bomber jackets and loose pant suiting was the order of the week. There were two clear camps in the style stakes - monochromatic/dramatic vs colourful/playful. White, black and nude worn head to toe was a standout trend while on the other end of the spectrum, there was a primary colour sports vibe happening care of Pip Edwards & Claire Tregoning from P.E Nation. Brooke Testino offered her off-beat, creative take on dressing, offering fresh pops of colour while Tanja Gacic displayed endless inspiration with her use of layering. Sarah Ellen added a quirky, European vibe mixing metallic s, bold stripes and flare pants and Lindy Klim and Kate Waterhouse were effortlessly chic, stream lined and put together. All in all, it was a year for the individual. There was no stand out "uniform", but an endless sea of individuality. Que, the standout looks for MBFW 2016...
